Boost your tuning capabilities with the trilogy designed to retro fit your 4 hole mount Tele. Includes installation instructions and hardware. Tuning chart also provided. Here's how it works...... The Trilogy provides you with instant, smooth, and precise retuning of each string to three player-preset notes by means of specifically designed cam levers. Each string is independent of adjacent strings. (Tuning ranges of the 6th and 5th strings are approximately an octave; the 4th and 3rd strings are over a fifth; the 2nd string is approximately a fourth; and the 1st string is over a minor third.)

Please Note: We fabricate and hand finish a wide variety of products at our factory in Interlaken, New York. As a result it may take several weeks to ship your order. We apologize for any delays and hope you enjoy the quality.

I installed a Hipshot trilogy on my telecaster a while back and I can honestly say that this is the most fantastic bit of kit I have purchased in a long time.
The first thing that impressed me is the build quality of the unit.
I even had my engineer brother have a look at it and he was really impressed too.

I have set mine up to do mainly open G and open D tunings
it's awesome not having to change guitars every time I need to go to open G or open D as I play a bit of slide guitar in my band from time to time.
The other thing that really impressed me is that the tuning stays very true.
So all in all guys I have to give you a 10 out of 10 for a product that is not only built well but also works exceptionally well.

The only trouble is we don't currently have a dealer down here in New Zealand so I had a friend buy one for me while he was in the USA.
I might have to import a few myself & sell em :)

I installed a Trilogy bridge on a MIM Nashville Special I had purchased to combine with the bridge and black Sperzel locking tuners 14 years ago... Even though I only use heavy strings on my other guitars that are all set up for playing slide, I use 10-46 Fender Silver Bullets on this one... I was expecting a loss of sustain with the lighter strings but it didn't happen. I don't have to touch the locking tuners unless the tuning I need isn't what I've tuned for on the bridge... That only happens when I'm messing around in a minor key... I tried using other brands of strings and heavier gauges but this works best for me... If anything the Trilogy Bridge has not made anything other than an improvement in sound and versatility for use in playing bottleneck slide style.

I've had this on my Tele for a year now. I love it! Aside from standard tuning, I have it set to do Open G, Open E, Open A (great country sound), and DADGAD. All without capos.

At first I had an issue with the included hardware, but realized that it was the fretboard height on my instrument that was making the saddle screws sit too high. I did pay to have my tech guy set that up for me. But in the meantime, I emailed Hipshot, and their guy sent me a @#*load of extra hardware to try out.

Overall, it's great! Very useful! I do have to fine-tune my guitar with a stage tuner when I make tuning switches. Still, this bridge is an aid to my creativity, not a hindrance; the learning curve of it hasn't slowed me down.
